Expert A/c repair Daytona beach in Palm Coast, FL

When your AC stops cooling in Daytona Beach, the heat inside your home builds fast. Seabreeze Heating & Air diagnoses and repairs cooling systems across Daytona Beach and the surrounding areas, including Port Orange, South Daytona, and Ormond Beach. Coastal conditions here are hard on equipment. Salt air corrodes outdoor coils, high humidity clogs condensate drain lines, and near-constant operation pushes capacitors and compressors to fail sooner than they would inland. Our technician, Michael Sankowski, grew up in Florida and knows firsthand how quickly a broken AC becomes a serious problem in this climate. We check refrigerant levels, inspect electrical components, clear drain lines, and test the full system before we leave. Whether your unit is blowing warm air, short cycling, leaking water, or refusing to start, we find the cause and fix it. Call Seabreeze Heating & Air to get your Daytona Beach home cooling again.

A/c repair Daytona beach FAQ

Common questions about a/c repair daytona beach in Palm Coast, FL.

Your system may have a refrigerant leak, a dirty or frozen evaporator coil, or a failing capacitor. These are common AC repair issues in Daytona Beach due to the area's salt air and year-round cooling demand.

A clogged condensate drain line is the most common cause of water leaks in Port Orange homes. Florida's high humidity means your AC pulls large amounts of moisture from the air daily, and that drain line can back up with algae over time.

Yes, salt air accelerates corrosion on outdoor coils and electrical components in Daytona Beach. This is why coastal systems often need more frequent inspections than units located farther inland.

Short cycling in South Daytona is often caused by a dirty air filter, low refrigerant, or an oversized system that cools too fast and shuts off before removing humidity. A technician can diagnose the exact cause.

Yes, Seabreeze Heating & Air serves Ormond Beach, New Smyrna, and all surrounding communities across the area. Call us to schedule AC repair at your home.

A technician will inspect your system and give you an honest assessment based on the repair needed and the condition of your equipment. Older units with repeated failures or severe salt corrosion may cost more to repair than to replace.

I hired Mike and his team to install a complete new HVAC system for our existing home, as well as the new 1,200 sq. ft. two-story addition we recently built. From start to finish, they were professional, honest, and always on time. The quality of their work is outstanding, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. They truly deserve more than five stars. Thanks again, Mike, for everything — we couldn’t be happier with the results!

I can’t say enough good things about Sea Breeze Heating & Air Conditioning. Mike and his team have helped us on multiple occasions and truly went above and beyond when no one else could figure out our problem. We had a serious moisture issue in our attic that could have led to a major mold problem. While other companies couldn’t identify the cause, Mike took the time to properly diagnose the issue and installed a dehumidifier that ultimately saved our home from extensive damage. More recently, Mike saved us from spending nearly three times as much as other A/C companies were recommending for a new unit. His honesty, expertise, and commitment to doing what’s right for the customer are rare these days. Mike is professional, fair, dependable, and always shows up when he says he will. If you’re looking for an HVAC company you can trust, I highly recommend Sea Breeze Heating & Air Conditioning to all of my friends and family.

Mike (the owner) and Patrick were friendly, professional, and thorough. They determined that my compressor was bad, and needed replacing. To properly validate their 10 year warranty, it was necessary to replace the air handler and thermostat as well. Their fee was not only reasonable but they did a temporary install with a loaner unit to get me through the 5 days until the permanent unit was installed as I was waiting on financing. I highly recommend Seabreeze!

Mike did an excellent job with helping me with choosing the best unit for my needs and then the installation was seamless. Thank you

Thank you to our HVAC tech, Mike, w/ Sea Breeze Heating & Air Conditioning. We got in from being out out of town only to find our fan blowing w/ NO a/c for the 4th of July weekend. Needless to say the house temp was 90 degrees and wife, kids, & dog were all not happy. Mike responded w/in a few hours, diagnosed the problem, and repairs were completed w/ in about 1 1/2 hours w/ a Veteran’s discount. By bed time, temp in the house was down to 75 degrees. Happy wife, kids, and dog and everyone is ready to celebrate the Nation’s 250th Birthday! Thanks Mike and Seabreeze, “Happy wife, happy life!” Happy 4th of July! Hooah, Army Strong! -Davis Family
